The title of this site comes from a quote I stumbled on a couple years ago from adventure photographer Scott Rinckenberger:
‘Because it looks cool’ is a perfectly acceptable reason to do something.
I’ve always loved photography. For the usual reasons (money, time, fear of the unknown… ) I didn’t get serious about it until the past year or so. I don’t really have a niche, I just shoot what catches my eye, then more often than not I process the hell out of it in Lightroom and/or Photoshop; the editing is often more fun than the shooting! But that’s just me.
I try to post at least one image each day on Google+, where there’s a large and active community of photographers. They inspire me daily.
